Vincent York's Jazzistry
Vincent York is the reason that I am a jazz musician. He was my teacher and mentor throughout high school, and I will always hold a special place in my heart for this man. This is the the website of his educational presentation called "Jazzistry" which explains the history of jazz. Vincent's bio is also on the site.

Tim Ries, saxophone
This guy is a good friend of mine, and he has helped me out more than I can say. An amazing musician and an all around great guy, Tim is on tour with the Rolling Stones among many other things! Check out his site.

Joel Frahm, saxophone
Joel Frahm is one of my favorite tenor sax players living in NYC today. He has a huge gorgeous sound, and the way he develops ideas is great. He plays every Tuesday at La Lanterna in the village and I wish I could go hear him play every single week!

The Manhattan School of Music
I have school pride! I am so lucky to be at MSM getting my Masters degree in jazz studies. The level of playing is very high in this place, and I have met many wonderful people, students and professors.

Univ. of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Jazz Dept.
I lived in Cincinnati for 5 years while I did my undergraduate degree at CCM. It was a great place for me to be, and I am very grateful to the teachers there who helped me so much, especially Rick Vanmatre, the director of the jazz dept. and saxophone teacher.

Steve Whipple
A great friend who I met while going to school in Cincinnati, Steve is a killin bass player, and I hope he will move to New York soon so we can play together again! Check out his new site. (Steve is also featured on several tracks in my LISTEN section).

Charlie Christenson
My friend at the Manhattan School of Music, an up-and-coming jazz vocalist! Check him out.

Christopher Olson
Check out this saxophonist who lives now in NYC, and plays most Sundays at People Lounge in the East Village.
