Hi Everybody!

Thanks for stopping by. I've been hard at work this summer getting all the music ready for my first record, which will be recorded at Bennett Studios in Englewood, NJ on October 5th and 6th, and rehearsals held at Michiko Rehearsal Studios in Midtown Manhattan. Stay tuned for a record release concert in Spring 2011! I'll most likely have a record release in NYC, as well as Ann Arbor, MI and Cincinnati, OH.

In preparation for the new record, I have scheduled a few of my own gigs in the city. On Sept 16th, I will be performing with a trio I played a lot with in Cincinnati when I was living there, featuring Steve Whipple on bass and Anthony Lee on drums. We'll be performing a new jazz venue called Tomi Jazz on the upper east side in Manhattan. Japanese owned and very stylish place, should be great! Then on September 28th, I'll have my entire quintet at Puppets Jazz Bar in Brooklyn from 8:15-10 pm.. if you feel like making it out to either of these shows I'd love to see you there!

I moved to Brooklyn this summer and I've really been enjoying the new 'hood and checking out the jam sessions in Brooklyn. So far I've been to Solo Kitchen Bar and The Fifth Estate, and both had a very welcoming vibe.

One other exciting thing...The Redhook Ramblers, a New-Orleans style jazz band I play clarinet in, will be performing at many NY Jets games this season! That wil be some great exposure for us.
